We The People Of Physics
The title may suggest the likes of Albert Einstein and Richard Feynman, Issac Newton and Galileo Galilei. Of course, these and many more are the founding fathers of some of the pathbreaking theories of Physics. But then, there are a few others, like me and you who teach Physics or study Physics or research Physics. We are the not so famous clan but still are, the people of physics.
We admire the theory of relativity and experiance the charm of Feynman diagrams in all their beauty. We take pride in getting to study and learn about the laws governing the nature. We ponder over the simplicity with which nature runs the world, when we go over the concepts of gravity, and the fact that the laws of Physics are actually a manifestation of nature's secrets. We wonder over the irony of the fact that the two seemingly separate arenas of electricity and magnetism are so closely associated with each other, and in fact mostly dependent on each other.
We, obviously go by logic and illogic often infuriates us. And there's so much that can be said about Physics, and the people of Physics, but I'll keep it short so that I do not cross the thin line between tasteful and burdening. Because as interesting as Physics is, so are the people of Physics.
