International Family

It was international family day on 15th may. The importance of family has long been emphasised upon and accepted too. Family is the core of our very survival. Without a family, life is lifeless. 

The term family basically and in general refers to a set of individuals whom we consider our own and are close at heart with. In this way, not just our conventional family but other people may be a part of our family.

The world too is a family, a 'Global Family'. Various nations, despite of the physical and geographical boundaries dividing them, are connected by a common thread, the thread of humanity, earthiness and worldwide brotherhood.

 Now, the basics of an ideal family are well applicable to the global family as well. To survive peacefully in a family, the virtues of mutual care and concern are necessary. Also the virtues of respect for each other and justice towards everyone are important to maintain order and peace in any family, including our global family. The responsible members of a family should make sure that other members live up to these ideals and ideologies. Only then will there be a healthy and happy family life.

The extract of being the part of any family is that every right and every duty is mutual. If a few members enjoy only rights without any duties, and others are burdened only with duties and denied any rights, then such familial structure will be imbalanced, and imbalance certainly isn't the key to peace. And if peace doesn't exist, the existence of anything is useless.

Hence it is crucial to any family, of course including the global family to make peace to keep its members happy. And every member has the responsibility of carrying out the virtuous task of serving the family members in times of need. 

Because, a family that stands together, stands stronger. So, kudos to the spirit of family that binds humans together, binds humanity together and binds nations together making them part of an international family.
