Being A Writer, BEing A Writer

To 'be' a writer means you have the capacity and capability to put your thoughts into words. You have the natural talent of playing with words.
On the other hand to 'BE' a writer, you must be accepted and acknowledged by people. You have to be called a writer for this, even if you aren't one.
So, basically, being a writer is not as important as BEing a writer. You may not be able to form a paragraph, but if you can convince people of it, you are a writer. You need not possess the talent or ability or aptitude as much as you need social acceptance. So in order to BE a writer you have to have a fan base, rather than articulation skills. However, in my personal opinion you cannot BE a writer for long, if you do not be a writer, because the outer shiney coat finally fades away and what remains is what is true and original.
Hence there's a world of difference between being a writer and BEing a writer, but the later is certainly and mostly preferred by a majority because it brings with it name and fame.
Be a writer or BE a writer, it's upto you, but whatever you are, be a true one.
