Making A Buck, Making A Difference
Tom Brokaw has said, "it's easy to make a buck, it's a lot tougher to make a difference." That's very well said because there are several means of making money, and making lots of it but it's a real challenge to make a difference or to stand out in the crowd.
However in present world the talent of making money is the only appreciated talent. One who makes money, be it by any means, acceptable or unacceptable, moral or immoral, is only considered successful. And that's the bitter truth of the society.
But, still there are people who are not involved in this mad rush for money and always stick to there ideologies. The people, who value self respect and self reliance over anything, are still there and will always be. There have been numerous people who have made a difference to the world through their efforts, ideas and ideologies and there have been others who have earned riches through any means possible. Then there is the third kind, the people who have made money and made a difference as well.Hence, it's an individual choice, as to whether a person values money or fame or ideals or tends to make a difference but, there is no denying the fact that it is difficult, but possible to make both, the money and a difference.
