Money Matters
Oh yes, money does matter a lot. There's no objecting to the fact. Money takes you places, gets you things, joy, satisfaction, pride, standard of living, good life.
Money is the ultimate superpower in the modern materialistic world. It is the means to attain worldly pleasures. It is the biggest driving force for majority, if not all human beings. We toil hard to earn money, to fulfill our basic needs, mostly, but also to maintain a standard in the society.
We have all seen people with more money, people with less money and also people with almost no money at all. But there is one thing common to all of them, they want more money, as much money as they can have. And there's nothing wrong with the desire to earn money, in fact its pivotal role in our sustenance is undeniable. We must earn well, atleast try our best to earn well, to keep up a good life. It's the duty of every human being to make a good living and support their family in every possible way.
The only problem with the desire to earn more and more money is that, it sometimes brings with it, aspirations and desires so strong that it many a times leads to wrongdoing, and corrupts the soul.
However, there are people, who do not give away to yearnings that demand for immoral measures to earn money, but there are also people, who could not resist the temptation that money brings with it.
Then there's the money which is hard earned, and it forms the major part of people's earnings. This money feels like a real reward. When you work really hard, the earning means a lot. The worth of money increases manifold, owing to the diligence and hard work put into it.
For some, money is the ultimate goal, while for others it's the means to achieve the target. In any form money is indisputably essential and unquestionably lucrative.
