While We Are Failing

No one likes failure. No one anticipates it even though everyone knows that it is inescapable. Each of us comes face to face with failure at some point or other in our lives. Thus, failure is undesirable but also inevitable.
The impacts of failure are different for different people. For those who are level headed, it is just a phase that will pass. For others, who are affected a little too much, it could bring sadness and despair. There are people who regard failures as the 'stepping stones' to success, while there are others who cling to the state of failure and immerse themselves deep into it.
In my humble opinion, a failure is actually the greatest opportunity to learn. We do not learn much when we succeed, because, we are so soaked in the glory of success, we ignore all the lessons. But, when we are failing, we tend to give more thought to the happenings and start to put more thought into our actions.
We learn our greatest lessons while we are failing. We learn what not to do and not just what ought to be done. Of course no one likes to fail, not me, not you, but while we are failing, let's squeeze out the most of it.
You can't help but take the worse part of failure, the depression, the sadness, the feeling of being 'not up to the mark', but I would say, why leave the better part, the teachings, lessons and the eye openers that follow a failure. The knowledge and sense of what path 'not to tread', comes only after you've failed, and that in itself is a boon. A failure teaches a lot. But in order to learn from it, you must let go of the dread and the conviction that failures do no good.
If you don't want to take it from me, take it from Thomas Alva Edison who had remarked, "I haven't failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." What a beautiful way to swallow your failures and move on with the lessons learned. And trust me you'll come out wiser, cleverer and better after each failure.
