Adieu
2020 is about to end, finally. And as is the human nature, the world is hoping for a better year ahead. This year was undoubtedly once in a lifetime(hopefully). It was no less than a classic drama. There was pain, suffering, loss, a mighty villian, insurmountable obstacles and the dedicated heroes.
Many people lost their lives, many lost their loved ones. Many people fought hard and survived. But the striking thing about the year was that the whole world was experiencing similar problems, the whole world fought it and hopefully will get over it soon.
We saw worldwide lockdowns and curfews. We saw people getting used to the 'new normal'. We saw how life perseveres despite all odds.
This crisis was very bad, without a question, but there is indeed a silver lining to it. It gave us an opportunity to find ourselves, to revive and renew the meaning of life. Many of us went back to doing things that we loved, but couldn't pursue due to the lack of time. Many of us learned and acquired new skills. We put efforts in addressing our calling. People cooked, wrote, sang, worked out, we had all the time in the world and we made good use of it. I, for example, realized my passion and liking for writing, and that paved way for RELATABLE.
The year taught us great lessons, brought us closer to ourselves gave us time to think and contemplate, to be generous, to save, to live your dreams, to take care of yourself.
As we bid adieu to 2020, all we can do is hope for better times ahead, and not forget the lessons learnt from the past year.
